How to use

List PDF form field names, types, values, and required/read-only states.

  1. Enter or select the source data.
  2. Adjust only the options you need.
  3. Run the tool, review the result, then copy or download it.

Inspect AcroForm fields before submission or automation

The tool lists field name, type, current value, required state, and read-only state for AcroForm controls. It is useful when you need to see what the PDF actually exposes as form data.

Zero fields does not always mean zero form-like areas

XFA forms, scanned pages, or visually drawn blanks may not appear as AcroForm fields. Treat a zero result as “no AcroForm fields found,” not proof that the PDF has no fillable-looking content.

Internal field names may differ from visible labels

A field shown as “Name” on the page can have a very different internal identifier. Those internal names matter when another system reads or fills the form programmatically.

Flatten after inspection when you need a fixed copy

Once the field list and values look right, use PDF Form Flattener to create a fixed-display copy. Keep the original editable PDF as your source.
