The aspect ratio is usually the real problem

A large image can still crop badly on social media if its shape does not match the platform’s display area. This tool resizes and lets you adjust the crop so the important subject survives.

More pixels do not fix the wrong shape

If a wide photo is forced into a square slot, something has to give. A platform may crop automatically, which is why composition matters just as much as resolution.

Keep the important bits away from the edges

  • Leave breathing room around faces, logos and text.
  • Check small text at actual phone size after export.
  • Platform recommendations can change, so confirm current requirements for critical campaigns.

A common rescue

For a wide product photo going into a square post, move the crop so the product stays centered rather than accepting an automatic middle cut.
