Cropping changes the visible page area

This tool moves the PDF CropBox inward. It is useful for trimming margins, but the content that disappears from view is not necessarily physically removed from the PDF file.

Do not use cropping as redaction

Hidden-looking content can still remain inside the document. If you need to remove personal or confidential information, use a proper redaction workflow that removes the information itself.

The same millimeter margins are applied to every page

Left, right, top, and bottom values are converted from mm and applied to each page CropBox. In mixed-size PDFs, the same 5 mm can look proportionally different from page to page.

Check page dimensions before aggressive cropping

If left + right or top + bottom approaches the page size, most of the page can disappear. Use PDF Page Size Checker first when you are not sure how much margin is available.
