A QR that contains a URL returns the URL text

If the code stores https://example.com/, the result is that literal URL string. The tool does not automatically open the destination.

Detection quality depends on focus, contrast, crop and QR size. A busy screenshot or very small QR can fail even when the code is valid.

Crop close to the QR code when reading fails

A QR that occupies only a small part of a screenshot can be difficult to detect. Cropping away surrounding text and images often helps more than uploading a larger full screenshot.

Reversed-color QR codes can also work

The reader can handle many ordinary dark-on-light codes and can also try reversed light-on-dark designs. Strong blur, glare or very low contrast can still prevent a successful read.

This is not a multi-code batch scanner

The current flow returns one decoded QR result from the image rather than enumerating every possible QR symbol in a large page.

Decoded content is plain text

A QR can contain a URL, Wi-Fi payload, contact data or arbitrary text. The reader reports the payload; it does not validate whether that payload is safe or trustworthy.
