A standard article card needs a complete absolute image URL

Using article with summary_large_image produces Open Graph tags plus the Twitter card type. The image field is written exactly as entered into og:image.

The generator does not fetch or validate the target page or image URL. After publishing, use a real social-card preview/debugger to confirm that the image is reachable and cached correctly.

Open Graph and Twitter metadata overlap but are not identical

This tool writes the core og:* fields and only twitter:card. It does not duplicate title, description and image into twitter:* fields.

Absolute URLs are the safest practical input

Social crawlers fetch metadata from outside your site. Full https URLs for the page and image reduce ambiguity compared with relative paths.

Image dimensions matter even though the tag generator cannot inspect them

The enhancement panel lets you compare a width/height ratio with the common 1200×630 shape, but it does not download or analyze the actual og:image asset.

Generated markup is only one part of social sharing

Crawler access, redirects, image MIME type, cache state and platform-specific policies can all affect the card that users eventually see.
