Generate a QR code that opens a prefilled email draft.

Input and settings

How to use it

Create a QR code that opens a new email with recipient, subject and body fields prefilled. It is useful for contact cards, event support or printed material where you want to reduce typing.

  1. Enter the recipient and optionally a subject and body template.
  2. Run the generator.
  3. Scan the QR on a target phone and verify that the expected mail app opens with the intended fields before using the PNG.

Prefill an event support address and subject

Using [email protected] with a subject such as “Event question” lets a visitor start with the address and subject already filled in.

The exact handoff depends on the phone’s QR reader and default mail app. The QR does not send a message automatically; the user still reviews and sends the email.

A useful subject can improve inbox triage

Include the event, product or request type in the subject so received messages are easier to recognize and filter.

Keep the body template short

A few prompts such as “Order number:” or “Question:” are usually more useful than a long block of text that the sender has to delete.

Scanning starts a draft rather than sending mail

The recipient remains in control and can edit or cancel. Do not describe the QR as an automatic email submission mechanism.

The email address is embedded in the QR

Anyone who can scan the public code can recover the recipient address, so use an address intended for public contact.

Test the final printed or displayed size

A clean PNG can become hard to scan after it is shrunk, compressed or placed on a low-contrast background. Verify the final layout on representative phones.
