Home, Guide, Article becomes positions 1, 2 and 3

Home | https://example.com/ followed by Guide and Article rows becomes a three-item BreadcrumbList in exactly that order.

If a row omits the URL, the current generator can create an empty item value. For production markup, provide the actual URL for each intended breadcrumb item and review the output.

Breadcrumb order should reflect the path users can understand

Enter the broadest level first and move toward the current page. A structured-data hierarchy that disagrees with visible navigation is harder to maintain and explain.

Input order directly controls position

The generator does not infer site architecture from URLs. Whatever line appears first receives position 1, the next position 2, and so on.

This creates JSON-LD, not visible breadcrumb navigation

You still need the page’s user-facing breadcrumb or navigation separately. The generated code does not alter the page layout by itself.

Validate the final implementation

Once embedded, confirm that names, URLs and order match the live page and that the JSON-LD remains valid after templating or CMS processing.
