Calculate convention/event profit and margin.
Subtract product cost and other event expenses from revenue to see profit, profit margin and total cost in one place. It is a simple event or merchandise result check rather than a full accounting statement.
80,000 − 20,000 − 25,000 = 35,000. The profit margin on revenue is 43.75%, and total cost is 45,000.The calculator uses only the three entered amounts. It does not automatically handle tax, depreciation, inventory valuation or other accounting treatment.

Manufacturing cost behaves differently from booth fees, travel and lodging. Keeping them separate makes it easier to see which part of the event consumed the budget.
A negative result is not hidden or forced to zero. Use it as a starting point for deciding whether price, product cost or event expenses need review.
Profit and total cost can still be displayed, but dividing by zero does not produce a meaningful percentage, so the margin is shown as unavailable.
If one event includes travel and another does not, the margins are not directly comparable. Decide which expenses belong in the model before comparing results.
