Remainders are handled with a largest-remainder style approach
The calculation first assigns the whole-number part of each ideal allocation, then gives leftover units to the largest fractional remainders so the total stays exact.

Split total inventory across event days using custom weights.
Split a whole inventory count across days according to custom positive weights. Fractional allocations are converted back to whole units while keeping the final total equal to the entered stock.
54 / 42 / 24, totaling 120.Weights do not need to add up to 100. Values such as 4 / 3 / 2 work as relative weights too. The tool allocates a known stock total; it does not predict demand or attendance.
The calculation first assigns the whole-number part of each ideal allocation, then gives leftover units to the largest fractional remainders so the total stays exact.
45 / 35 / 20 and 9 / 7 / 4 represent the same proportions after normalization.
When fractional remainders are exactly equal, earlier rows can receive the extra unit first. Review the final split when a one-unit difference matters operationally.
Choose the weights from expected visitors, historical sales or another planning assumption; this tool only turns those weights into whole inventory counts.
A stock total of zero simply produces zero allocations. Weight lines still need to be positive so the requested proportions are meaningful.
