This adds a signature image

A PNG or JPEG signature/stamp image is placed on selected pages. It can fill a visible signature area, but it is not the same as a certificate-based cryptographic digital signature.

An image and a digital signature prove different things

An image only shows that a graphic was placed on the page. If you need tamper evidence or signer identity verification, use a digital-signature workflow designed for that purpose.

At least one target page is required

Previously, a blank Pages field could produce an unchanged PDF and still look successful. The tool now stops unless at least one valid target page is selected.

PDF positions use points

Image width is specified in pt (points). 72 pt = 1 inch. Start around the default size, then inspect the saved PDF so the image does not overlap important content or fall outside the page.
