How to use it

Write Markdown and preview common headings, emphasis, lists, links and code immediately. It is useful for drafting articles or README content, but it is not a full GitHub Flavored Markdown or CommonMark compatibility tester.

  1. Enter Markdown or load the sample.
  2. Select Preview.
  3. Compare the rendered result with the source and adjust the Markdown as needed.

Code blocks
Fenced code is displayed as a block
Raw HTML
Shown as text rather than executed
Notable omissions
Extended features such as tables and task lists

Preview a heading, bullet list and link together

# Heading, - Item and [OpenAI](https://openai.com) can be checked quickly in one preview.

Markdown behavior varies by publishing service. Treat this as a quick basic preview and verify the final post in GitHub, your CMS, note-taking app or other actual destination.

It covers the Markdown features people use most often

H1–H6 headings, bold, italic, bullet lists, blockquotes, inline code, fenced code and http/https links are suitable for quick draft checks.

Extended Markdown features may render differently or not at all

Tables, task-list checkboxes and other platform-specific syntax are not reproduced as a full GFM implementation. Check those features in the destination service.

Raw HTML is not used as live page markup

HTML typed into the Markdown source is escaped instead of becoming an active component. This is useful for showing code examples but not for testing Markdown that intentionally embeds HTML.

Fenced code is displayed without a full code-editor experience

Code blocks are shown as code, but this preview is not a syntax-highlighting IDE and does not try to reproduce every language-aware Markdown extension.

Clickable Markdown links are aimed at normal web URLs

Links beginning with http:// or https:// are turned into clickable links. Relative-link behavior and repository-specific paths should be checked in the real destination.
