Re-encode an image to remove EXIF, GPS, and other metadata.
Save an image again as JPEG, PNG or WebP without carrying normal EXIF/GPS metadata into the new file. It is useful for creating a cleaner sharing copy of a photo before publishing it.
This is not a forensic certification that every possible embedded data structure has been removed. For regulated, confidential or evidentiary workflows, inspect the saved file with an independent metadata tool.

JPEG and WebP quality settings affect compression. Even when metadata removal is the goal, inspect sharpness and artifacts in the saved result.
For logos or cut-out assets that need a transparent background, choose PNG or a suitable WebP output instead of JPEG.
Metadata can be useful later for organizing, editing or proving when a photo was captured. Avoid overwriting the only source copy.
The tool creates a re-saved image without normal EXIF/GPS carryover, but high-assurance requirements should include a second metadata inspection step.
