Run a Stopwatch with Lap Times in Your Browser

Measure elapsed time and lap times in your browser.

Measure time

00:00:00.00

How to use it

Measure elapsed time with start, pause, resume and lap controls. A lap records the total elapsed time at that moment, and the newest lap appears at the top of the list.

  1. Select Start / Resume to begin timing.
  2. Select Lap whenever you want to record the current elapsed time.
  3. Pause when needed, and save any important results before resetting or leaving the page.

Record several checkpoints during a ten-minute task

Start once and press Lap at each milestone. You can keep the stopwatch running while building a list of cumulative checkpoint times.

Reloading or closing the page clears the stopwatch and lap list. Use dedicated timing equipment when you need certified race timing, safety-critical measurement or guaranteed persistent records.

Pause and resume keep the accumulated time

A break does not force you to reset. Resume continues from the elapsed time already measured.

Lap values are cumulative, not interval-only

A lap shows the total time since the start. If you need the duration of one segment, compare it with the previous lap value.

The newest lap appears first

New lap entries are inserted at the top while the lap number keeps increasing, which makes the latest checkpoint easy to see.

Save anything important before leaving

The page does not persist the current timer or laps through a reload or browser close. Copy, note or capture the values you need.

It is intended for everyday timing

Work sessions, study and informal exercise fit well. Official competition, laboratory or safety timing needs appropriate dedicated equipment.
