How to use it

Crop an image by entering X/Y coordinates plus width and height in pixels, using the top-left corner as the origin. It is useful when you need a repeatable, exact crop rather than a freehand selection.

  1. Choose an image; the full source width and height are loaded as the initial crop size.
  2. Enter X, Y, crop width and crop height in pixels.
  3. Run the crop, verify the dimensions and download the PNG result.
Origin
top-left = X 0 / Y 0
Width / height
at least 1 px, handled as whole pixels
Boundary
crop must stay fully inside the source
Output
PNG

Crop the center 600 × 400 area from a 1200 × 800 image

Set X=300, Y=200, width=600 and height=400 to create a 600 × 400 px PNG from the center of the source.

This tool uses numeric coordinates rather than a drag-to-select box. A crop that extends even slightly beyond the source boundary is rejected, so check X + width and Y + height.

Numeric crops are useful for repeatable work

Templates, sprites and repeated screenshot regions are easier to reproduce when you can reuse the same coordinates.

X runs from left to right and Y from top to bottom

The reference point is the source image’s top-left corner. Values are not measured from the right or bottom edge.

The saved crop is PNG

Even if the source is JPEG or another supported format, the downloaded crop is PNG. Convert it afterward if another final format is required.

The canvas is not expanded beyond the source

This page only removes outer areas. It does not add padding or create blank pixels outside the original image.

Check visual content as well as dimensions

A mathematically correct crop can still cut through text, logos or faces. Preview the result before replacing an existing asset.
