There is no header-detection step. If your CSV is headerless, its first data row will become Markdown column names. Add a header first if that is not what you want.

Convert CSV to a Markdown table with alignment options and escaped pipe characters.
Turn a CSV table into Markdown for a README, GitHub issue, wiki, or technical note. The first CSV row becomes the Markdown header, and the converter escapes characters that would otherwise break the table.

Markdown uses | as a column boundary, so pipes inside cell content are converted to \|. Embedded newlines are converted to <br>. The data is being adapted to Markdown’s syntax so the visual table survives.
If CSV rows have different lengths, missing cells are added as blanks up to the maximum column count. That produces a syntactically regular Markdown table, but it does not mean an underlying column-shift problem has been corrected.
Left, Center, or Right applies to the whole generated table. The converter does not infer numeric columns or assign a different alignment per column. You can edit the separator row afterward if you need mixed alignment.
Convert a test-results CSV for a GitHub issue or a comparison export for a README. CSV is convenient for systems; Markdown is convenient for people. This tool is the presentation step between the two.
