Current ColorMe guidance documents 59 fields for new-product bulk registration and 60 for bulk product updates.
This checker counts the header and every data row and reports rows matching neither shape.
When an error appears, look at the first row where the width changes. If every following row shifts, malformed quoting is likely; if only one row differs, a comma or line break in that row is a more likely cause.
A row with 58 or 61 columns does not always mean someone manually added or removed a column. A comma, line break or quote inside text can split the CSV structure.
Use the comma / line-break / quote checker to inspect that layer.
Treat the result as a preflight check, not a guarantee that the platform will accept the upload. Account state and current admin settings can add conditions that a browser-only checker cannot prove.
Column count alone cannot prove whether the file is the intended registration or update template, nor whether field values are correct.
Compare against the latest template downloaded from the ColorMe admin.
A sheet can look aligned while CSV serialization changes quoting around commas and embedded line breaks.
Run the checker on the final file you plan to upload.
